Business Analyst - Accounting & Reporting - KPO (4-9 yrs)
General Purpose:
To process and monitor accounting transactions and reporting in accordance with process design, concept and service levels defined in the Service Description. To proactively perform preventive quality controls, independently able to draw conclusions and to take corrective actions when errors occur.
Main Responsibility Area:
- Local Operations organization is responsible for the efficiency, effectiveness and quality of services related local compliance.
- SSO Local Operations main responsibility is to deliver local accounting activities (statutory accounting & reporting) with high quality
- Deliver monthly reporting packages for Group reporting
Supporting auditors for both group as well as local statutory audits
- SOX compliance
- Management of open items related to accounting
- Contribute efficiently for efficient processes and in particular continuous improvement
Capabilities:
B.Com/ Chartered Accountant intermediate/Masters degree in business administration
At least 5 to 7 years of experience in accounting in a international company or one of the big 4 or an Intern.
English fluent, another language fluent
Good SAP skills, as well as sound MS Excel skills
Job Description
- Support the Finance Accounting Manager in all regular monthly/Quarterly/Annual closure activities.
- Ensuring accounting as per Nokia accounting Polices and Principles
- Ensuring timely delivery of data for monthly group reporting
- Preparation of monthly accounting schedules
- Effectively monitoring and implementing all identified SOX Controls
- Supporting in upcoming accounting projects
- Coordinating between different SSO teams and Customer Operations team within Nokia
- Identification and evaluation of risks/errors, reporting of identified and evaluated risks including preparation and circulation of MIS
- Continuously monitors performance measures, proposing and implementing process improvement to increase process consistency, quality, efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensures visibility of the service organization's performance.
- Contributes to mitigation of risk
