SAP Sales and Distribution Consultant

Role Background :

Browntape is looking at integrating with customer's SAP systems to ensure smooth data flow and to provide a superior user experience and dash boarding capability. As part of that initiative, Browntape is looking for SAP SD consultants who can work on integrating the SAP SD functionalities with Browntape.

Experience Required :

- Experience of integrating SAP's SD functionalities with non-SAP applications to ensure smooth flow of sales orders, delivery documents, invoices, etc.

- The candidate should have at least 5-6 years of SAP SD implementation & integration experience. Candidates with implementation experience in the retail space would be preferred.

The candidate should possess sound knowledge of important areas in SAP SD such as :

- SD related master data (such as customer master, item category, etc)

- Sales orders types mapping to different sales processes

- Pricing & taxes related condition types

- Picking, Packing, Handling Unit, etc

- Route determination

- Posting of Goods Issue

- Invoice generation & approval

Additional abilities/knowledge in the following areas would be a strong plus :

- Ability to debug SAP ABAP code

- Knowledge of Interfaces, RFCs, etc

- eCommerce specific delivery methods such as drop shipping

Job Role :

Work closely with the Browntape product team, ABAP consultant and other functional consultants to ensure SD functionalities are closely & fully integrated between SAP & Browntape.

This would require :

- Understanding of Browntape's functionalities & APIs and their mapping to standard SAP SD functionalities

- Identifying integration touch-points (Between Browntape & SAP) to ensure smooth flow of data from Browntape into SAP and vice-versa

- Customer interactions

- Requirements Capture - Working with Alpha/Beta customers to identify use-cases and development of storyboard and workflow integrating SAP & Browntape

- Hand-holding in terms of training, help in testing, etc

- Functional testing of the integration
