Pan BT - Job Description - Reward Framework  Job Title: Commercial & Contract Management Lead India   Line of Business: Group Finance and Procurement  KEY PURPOSE OF ROLE :  Located in CBS India, accountable to BT Group personnel for the development and delivery of the CDSS Commercial and Contract Management Functional capabilities delivered from CBS India to all BT lines of business.  - A functional lead responsible and accountable for the delivery and ownership of a standard global CDSS Commercial & Contract Management functional capability across all contracts serviced from CBS India.  - Working with the CBS Head of Commercial Management on the delivery of all required changes to the CDSS Commercial Management function both for the existing CDSS function and those activities brought into CDSS from BT LoBs as part of initiatives such as Blue Print.   - Management of all governance and compliance activities associated with contract management that form part of the commercial & contract management function in India. These include - CGR compliance and reporting; Contract Obligations Management; CLMT population, contract risk management and CDSS operational delivery.  - Working with the CBS Head of Commercial Management to stand up the Commercial and Contract Management Centre of Excellence in CBS India including the design of all structure, collateral and content to be used in support of the design and delivery of a consistent set of processes, procedures and policies that will be followed by all commercial managers across all hubs.  - Working with the CBS Head of Commercial Management to develop and enhance the Commercial & Contract Management capability in line with BT and CBS Strategy as well as LoB operational demands.  - Providing direct management of all commercial management teams deployed in CBS India and owning all growth and development initiatives associated with the Commercial management function.  Key Responsibilities :  The Core Activities, Outputs Expected Of The Role, Regulatory & Legal Requirements :   Working with the CBS Head of Commercial Management for Commercial Management services delivered from CBS India :  - To develop, deploy, manage and refresh the standard process underpinning the delivery of a commercial management capability;  - To work with CBS recruitment and Training teams as well as any relevant external BT agencies to develop, deploy and own a standard Training, Induction and Accreditation structure with all supporting collateral.  - To develop, deploy, manage and refresh the standard governance structure for the delivery of the standard capability that satisfies all LOB, Contract and regulatory requirements for the delivery of the Commercial & Contract Management role;  - To work with the Service Excellence team in the identification of new areas of capability or Tower Gap to to be accountable and responsible for ensuring that all of those activities are brought under CDSS management in a controlled and order fashion and that they are deployed using the standard processes and governance that underpin Commercial & Contract Management;  - To be responsible and accountable for the transformation of the Commercial & Contract Management functional capability in line with CBS Strategy;  - To be responsible for ensuring that the Commercial & Contract Management capability is delivered cost effectively and that the functional capability drives cost assurance as part of its day to day responsibility;  - To be accountable and responsible for ensuring that the functional capability is aligned to and contributes to the successful delivery of the CBS strategy;  - To be responsible for the development of Commercial & Contract Management as a standard productised capability which can form part of the wider CDSS/CBS suite of saleable value add services;  - To work with any and all external and wider BT agencies to promote the standard capability and ensure that it forms part of their understanding and is incorporated into their associated processes and documentation;  - Responsible for owning and understanding any and all system based requirements of the delivery of the functional capability and to own and drive any changes or enhancements needed to those systems which are required to ensure effective delivery or to develop the capability.
