Britannia - Plant Finance Manager

Position Title : Plant Finance Manager

Function : Finance

Key Stakeholders :

Internal : Factory Manager, RMH, RCFM, Commercial Team, Replenishment, Production Team

External : Auditors, Consultants, Excise Department, Sales Tax Department and other statutory bodies.

Educational Qualification : Post graduate degree in finance or accounting. ICWA/ Chartered Accountant is strongly preferred

Experience :

- Minimum 5+ yrs experience in managing similar portfolio

- Prior experience of working on SAP

- Prior relevant experience preferably in FMCG industry

Key Responsibilities:

Payable Management :

Ensuring all Vendors are paid within the due date. Ensure that the working capital is adequately utilized.

Financial Analysis :

Partnering with the factory manager in reviewing the financial performance of the unit and highlighting the areas of improvement/opportunities.

Inventory Management :

Implementing processes and control (stock control, credit control, budgetary control and settlement process) in the factory to ensure smooth and controlled inventory position in the unit.

Fixed asset management :

Prepare Capex spend plan for the Units for the year based on business initiatives planned for the units. Ensure procurement of new assets and physical verification of existing assets at defined intervals as per Company's policy

New Initiatives :

Being an active member of Unit Strategy Team to drive initiatives like profitability improvement, Wastage reduction, etc

Implement and Review SOP Compliances
