Title : SAP Integration Architect

Job Description :

The SAP Integration Architect is responsible for setting up and implementing end-to-end integration projects around SAP. This could involve standard adapters between SAP and other complementary COTS products or customized integration between SAP instances for customers and other systems in their extended landscape.

As a SAP Integration architect, your responsibility will be to define the Integration architecture that best meets the business requirements of individual projects, design all components of the integration project and play a leading role in directing and / or managing all other phases of the project including development, test, roll-out and support.

Your key areas of responsibilities will include :

Integration Strategy : Conduct discovery sessions/workshops with identified system and business owners and develop a working strategy. Select system capabilities to meet business data integration requirements. Evaluate new techniques for improved functionality.

Design Technical Integration Architecture, including development, runtime and operational architectures. Conduct reviews, gap analysis and assessment. Analysis and implementation of enterprise architecture principles.

Data Modelling : Analyse and Understand Business Data Model - Data Element and Business Object. Map Data Element to Future State Business Process, identify source systems pertaining to data elements. Analyse existing business processes, inbound & outbound inter-operability, real-time, batch process, CDC capabilities (for both source & target systems).

Product Lifecycle Management : Involvement in all aspects of product lifecycle management, including developing the overall product roadmap (for the Integration product), managing the same, including version management and support.

Qualifications :

12+ years of high-quality experience with a strong grounding in process integration, coupled with an equally strong experience in delivering technology-based integration solutions with SAP & Non-SAP systems

8 to 10 years of experience in architecting, designing or implementing of Integration Architectures and Applications.

Strong interest in innovative technologies and desire to work on pioneering engagements.

Experience in delivery of heterogenous Integration solutions.

In depth understanding & experience with generally available integration tools for SAP & Non-SAP systems, such as SAP .NET connector, SAP Java Connector (jCo), SAP PI/PO and other Open Source Middleware products.

Strong understanding of Software Lifecycle Management & Agile methodologies.

Ability to envisage future solutions.

Knowledge of SAP Integration certification & product qualification processes.

Understanding of business semantics

Excellent communication skills and strong analytical abilities

Additional preferable qualifications:

Experience in working with distributed development models
