We have a senior position with us in Mumbai for TOI – Brand.
Position Summary -
- Plan, propose and implement edit and marketing campaigns / reader connect events; control marketing costs; monitor profitability; prepare and analyze relevant MIS reports; build a competent and motivated team with the objective of enhancing brand equity of TOI and supplements in Rest of Maharashtra region.
Areas of Responsibility -
- Plan, propose and implement edit and marketing campaigns / reader connect events on an ongoing basis in order to create buzz around the brand and enhance its equity
- Monitor costs and profitability; propose pagination related measures in order to control costs and ensure profitability for the brand
- Negotiate costs with suppliers; raise sponsorship money; work out alliances in order to implement marketing activities at the least possible costs to the organization
- Set objectives for team members, review performance periodically, provide developmental feedback, identify competency gaps for current and future roles, drive fulfillment of required training, discuss and map career paths for key talent in order to ensure that team members have the competence and motivation to deliver targeted results
- Track self and competition activities; organize guard book updation on time; prepare and analyze relevant MIS reports; implement a billing system in order to take timely decisions on marketing activities and to ensure that payments are made in time to suppliers
- Work with various internal departments to ensure smooth operations & effective strategy execution.
Education & Experience -
MBA from top tier B-school; Strong Academics
At least 10-12 years of overall experience with exposure to Brand Management & Activations (preferably from sectors like FMCG / Media / Durables / Telecom)
