Brand/Marketing Manager - Spa & Salon Chain (5-10 yrs)

About our Client:

Our client is a global MNC present in nearly 20 countries, specializing in the styling and salon space. They have aggressive growth plans for India and want to become market leaders within the service portfolio they cater to. They are looking for a Marketing/Brand Manager, with potential to grow role into a pan India scope of responsibility.

Job Description:

Reporting to the MD of India business, the key accountabilities will be:

- Developing effective marketing programs 80% focused on Activations, Alliances and Cross-promotions, and 20% on ATL.

- Conceptualizing and executing Innovations in Products, Services and Communication.

- Spearheading the overall Brand Strategy including setting in place a calendar of promotions, customer offers and other customer engagement initiatives in line with Brand strategy.

- Be completely tuned to the Customer Needs through regular store visits as also to ensure execution excellence at store, and interact with regional operations for driving business goals.

- Giving direction and developing New Alliances- Joining hands with relevant business partners, Organizing events, experiential marketing etc.

- Presenting a Brand road map through monitoring, analyzing sales figures, external data, competition mapping, etc.

- Work closely with the Sales and Operation team for effective activation of marketing plans and promotions.

- Be a liaison between internal & external teams to ensure timely achievement & implementation of launches.

- Plan, execute and own the quarterly promotional calendar, with a strong focus on promotions/ alliances in driving sales, relevance to important occasions and coherence of communication with other channels

- Apart from ATL+BTL, there will be strong focus on PR.

- Digital Marketing will play a crucial and critical role to achieve not just the Brand objectives, but the Business Revenue Targets as well.

The Successful Candidate:

- 5-10 years of blended marketing experience with knowledge of Luxury/Fashion/Lifestyle products and services.

- MBA/PGDBM in marketing preferably from a Tier 1/Tier 2 institute with exposure to advertising/brand management, direct marketing, PR, Corporate Communication, demand generation, pricing, marketing strategy or in any industry where there is exposure in Marketing/ Channel handling.

- The incumbent should have the ability to work in a dynamic environment and multi task while managing a team and driving initiatives.

- Well presented candidates from Hospitality, Retail, Airlines and such service driven industry desirable.
