Brand Manager - PR & Marketing - Media/Advertising Industry (6-10 yrs)

Brand Manager | Job Description

This is a 360-degree role, which will require the individual to focus on various platforms of marketing which includes: social media, public relation, traditional and have a strong content management focus to promote the brand ShopX across the key target audience: investors, journalists, retailer & distributors and potential recruits. You will also be presenting ideas and strategies to the leadership team and will suggest ways and means to get maximum impact through reasonable and cost-efficient execution. You will also be collaborating and working closely with cross-functional teams across the organization on different projects.

The responsibilities are explained below in details:

Public Relation

- Write and edit press releases, review marketing material, produce newsletters and write executive speeches

- Identify audiences and determine the best way to reach them

- Develop positive corporate image and identity

- Assist and inform an organization's spokespeople

- Think out of the box to devise promotion programs

- Assign, supervise, and review the activities of the PR agency

- Maintain close relationships with reporters and editors at media outlets

- Set up executive interviews and work to promote positive media attention

Social Media

- Manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities including:

- Develop relevant content topics to reach the company's target customers.

- Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written).

- Monitor, listen and respond to users in a - Social- way while cultivating leads and sales.

- Develop and expand community and/or influencer outreach efforts.

- Oversee design (ie: Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, Blog, etc.).

- Design, create and manage promotions and Social ad campaigns.

- Manage efforts in building online reviews and reputation. Monitor online reviews and respond to each review.

- Analyse key metrics and tweak strategy as needed.

- Compile reports for management showing results (ROI).

- Become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.

- Demonstrate ability to map out a comprehensive marketing plan. Drive strategies that are proven by testing and metrics.

- Develop organizational elements to implement a proactive process for capturing happy, loyal customer online reviews.

- Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.

- Identify threats and opportunities in user-generated content surrounding the company. Report notable threats to appropriate management.

- Analyse campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising social media, content marketing, SEO and social advertising campaigns.

- Monitor effective benchmarks (Best Practices) for measuring the impact of social media campaigns. Analyse, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns to maximize results.

Traditional Marketing

- Conduct market research to find answers about consumer requirements, habits and trends

- Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns

- Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, events planning etc.)

- Liaise with external vendors to execute promotional events and campaigns

- Collaborate with cross functional team to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts

- Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate marketing channels (social media, e-mail, TV etc.)

- Assist in analysing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies

Content Management

- Administrate the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content.

- Create a regular publishing schedule.

- Implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns.

- Promote content through social and traditional advertising

- Overseeing all content creation activities for the organisation

- Creation of a content marketing calendar to ensure regular content on the website throughout the year

- Writing entertaining and informative content.

- Keeping up to date with industry best practice and monitoring content activities of competitors

- Repurposing content for different mediums like social media and PR
