Main Purpose (captures essence of the job in brief) :

Ensuring effective execution for Milkbrand plans and building the Category base Consumer & Market understanding. The position involves providing inputs for development of & operationalising the Marketing plans for milk across India

Main Responsibilities (listed in order of priority) :

- Building annual marketing calendar, devising and activating ATL & BTL programs, optimizing marketing spends for pan India.

- Executing various researches likebrand health, U&A studies, campaign evaluation, product and concept research

- Analyzing sales, competitor and consumer trends

- New product development and Innovation - Development and delivery of new product development (NPD) plans, For any form of communication directly or indirectly linked to Company/Brand equity works under strict supervision and is a responsibility of Marketing Dept.

- Liaise with all the internal stakeholders - Legal, finance, sales, R&D and plant to ensure right product mix in terms of price, promotion, packaging and product

- Drive special projects to bring in innovation/improvement in customer service, customer loyalty, new formats of delivering milk and etc

- Proposing and evaluating trade schemes across India in coordination with Sales team for all the channels

Job Specifications :

Education : MBA (MARKETING)

Experience : 5-7 Years in FMCG sector

Training : Branding & Marketing Strategies

Position/ Department/ Organization & Purpose of Contact :

- Sales Day to day coordination on sales numbers, current schemes, on ground activities and support & new product performance.

- Production Follow up on stocks and packaging material status, launch of new products & updated product costings.

- Accounts Regularly send statement of committed expenditures and ensure timely payment to outside parties

- Purchase Development of new packaging material

- Logistics Placement of new packs in market & implementation/ distribution related to ongoing consumer promotions

- Legal Clearance for launch of new products, SKUs, contracts, agreements etc.

External Interfaces :

Ad. Agency : Developing brand communication & implementation.

Media Agency : Implementation of the media plan and monitoring of the same.

Direct Marketing Agencies : Planning and implementation of consumer promotion and on-ground activities

Research Agencies : Quantitative & qualitative research to learn consumer preferences and responses/ feedback

Suppliers(POS) : Development of merchandising material, promotion items/ gifts etc.

Extent Of Guidance Received :

Guidance : Jobholder is expected to work with a large degree of independence and establish procedures for attaining specific goals and objectives in a broad area of work, within the organization's plans, policies and reporting requirements. Overall guidelines and objectives are discussed initially and progress is reviewed intermittently and informally.
