- To develop the Brand strategy

- Generating consumer insights and achieving Brand Volumes & Market shares.

- Designing and implementing marketing plans, which are in line with strategic priorities, developing relevant communication ideas, monitoring all factors, which affect the health of the brands.

- To facilitate the development of innovations in the brand to aid increase purchase and consumption

- To develop product & packaging specifications in line with consumer preference

- Involve in developing the ad campaign for the brand

- Strategic Consumer communication for the brand through close interaction with agencies

- Facilitate the process of annual brand planning. Provide input relevant to brand health indices, volumes, contributions, previous year's performance etc.

- To keep track of Industry dynamics and competitor strategies. Regularly obtain and analyze relevant information in order to evaluate effectiveness of plans and strategies and support changes for future. Also undertake periodic market visits to understand brand movements and trends.

- Intra department co-ordination for development of blend, product & packaging up gradation. Coordination with a number of departments such as the R&D dept, Operations department for development in blend, product, and packaging up gradations, and also with Promotions Manager and field force for conceptualization and execution of promotions

- Manage communication flow on all relevant Brand initiatives

- To operationalize the planned strategy with innovative plans in line with agreed priorities to maximize brand volume and profit

- Understand Brand & Consumer interaction for own/competitor’s brands

- Brand research analysis in collaboration with MR manager

- Initiate a competitive bench mark pricing mechanism in tune with the sensitivities of different markets

- Responsible for controlling marketing expenditures on brand and monitor variation from the budget
