Job description  Scope of the Role:  McCain Foods, the world's largest privately owned manufacturer of frozen food products, is looking for a dynamic, driven, self-starter to join our marketing team as a Brand Manager. This position will allow you manage all aspects of marketing across McCain brand and store brands within the Retail Potato portfolio. You will act as the strategic business leader with Sales, Innovation and other functional groups within the organization.  As a key member of the marketing team, you will be responsible for developing annual and long range business plans, portfolio design and strategy, value proposition development, forecasting, media and promotional plans, innovation strategy and management, business performance analysis, and P&L management.  Key Responsibilities:  - Provide category expertise and leadership for the US Retail Potato portfolio including business fundamentals, P&L management, industry trends, market structure, segment/customer needs and competitive landscape  - Manage daily portfolio activities for both McCain branded and store brand/private label portfolio  - Develop an annual and long range strategic plan for the portfolio, identify growth opportunities and develop key strategies and tactics to enable delivery of financial objectives  - Work with Sales to deliver the budget, manage and set customer pricing, build total value proposition, support trade and customer shows, prepare category reviews and help present to select customers  - Develop innovation strategy and commercialization plans by leading insight development and application, portfolio integration, list price and cross channel pricing decisions  - Lead and manage cross-functional project teams to execute new product launches, packaging design, artwork approvals, SKU and materials management and financial feasibility exercises  - Support monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process by working with Demand Planning to prepare monthly SKU forecasts and participating in consensus activities  - Manage agency relationship and brand media/communications plans, digital media and overseeing customer and consumer activations (coupons, promotions, etc.) in support of the annual marketing plan  - Build research and knowledge agenda in coordination with Insights partners  - Conduct business analysis and reporting (sales, profits, competitive activity, promotional results, etc.)  - Prepare management reporting and advise on category trends and business performance utilizing internal and external data sources (SAP, Nielsen Scan Data, Consumer Household Panel, etc.)  - Manage marketing spending budget and reports on spending results and ROI  - Other projects/duties as assigned or needed  Qualifications:  - Bachelor's or advanced degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (MBA strongly preferred)  - Minimum 5+ years of Marketing, Brand or Category Management experience with a focus on Retail channels (Grocery, Drug, Mass, Club), preferably experience with a reputable Consumer Packaged Food company  - Food, Frozen category and/or Food service Marketing experience a plus  - Self-starter and independent thinker with the ability to understand business fundamentals from an opportunity or challenge perspective, then convert that insight to sustainable strategies and action plans for growth  - Entrepreneurial approach to driving a business with an ability to influence the organization  - Strong financial and strategic acumen, analytical abilities, communication skills and capable of independent decision making and setting business vision  - Project management skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask against several complex projects at a time  - Familiarity with syndicated data systems (Nielsen, Consumer Household Panel, etc.), managing and leveraging primary consumer research and manipulating multiple data sources to generate business insights  - Computer proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word  Interested candidates can share their CV with your contact details.  Aarti Sharma Talent Connector +91 880 078 1180 www.talentconnectors.com Off: B-502, Plot No. 15, Sector 5, Dwarka, New Delhi - 110075, India
