- Design, implement and manage the sales and marketing strategy for dairy in the country with the respective teams below him to drive and deliver volumes as per the overall business plan.
- Business development - mapping the key markets, finding the key buyers of bags and appointing new customers and initiating business. Setting up depots - putting up the necessary structure and processes in place for GRN, billing and risk controls.
- Capability building amongst local staff and ensuring high motivational levels in the team and their alignment to the overall dairy strategy
- Ensure strict adherence to all the laid down systems and procedures without exception
- Ensure that all the direct and indirect costs for the business are within budgets
- Counter party & Credit Risk Management
- Support the PCH in trading and positional decisions by providing adequate and timely market information
