Job Description  Position / Job title: Branch Manager / Operations Manager  Reporting to: CEO / Managing Director / Owner  Location: Mumbai  Job Purpose:   The Branch Manager / Operations is in charge of a branch of a business or organization. The role of the branch manager involves leading a team of professionals and manage day-to-day operations, liaison between corporate office and different departments including operations, accounts, Visa, HR/admin etc. Largely the purpose is to ensure client satisfaction and be committed to the expansion and success of the business.   Role and responsibilities:  1. Annual preparation of Budget Proposal for the year to the Management covering costs and projecting Income (to determine and manage a budget, ensuring that funds are allocated appropriately in order to meet organization's objective) - Responsible for the overall P&L of the branch.  2. Adhering to the approved Budget by controlling the staff costs on recruitments, Branch Cost etc.  3. Responsible for the all business verticals including corporate travel, Retail, MICE, ticketing and leisure to ensure the stipulated targets are met month on month.  4. Monitor branch performance report of all supplier contracts to optimize possible revenue earning opportunities   5. Effectively managing staffs across the branch and spearhead the overall Sales, Operations, Finance and Facilitation Teams  6. Ensuring that staff adhere to financial & operational proceduresand that any training needs are identified and addressed  7. Help the team to generate new sales while providing tools for protecting the existing client base  8. Monitor the day to day sales & operations of the Branch  9. Ensuring maximum customer satisfaction by closely interacting with clients to understand their requirements.  10. Dealing with staff disciplinary matters and resolution of client complaintswithin specified time frame (supporting the team and resolving Clients challenges/escalations effectively)  11. Organizing recruitment,induction and training of new recruited staff.  12. Maintaining corporate relations with and Airlines / other key suppliers enhancing relationships for effective and professional service deliverance   13. Managing operational systems, policies & procedures including development, implementation and continual improvement of processes to best achieve overall business goals. With the process in place, by consistent monitoring at all times ensures for an enhanced service delivery  14. Take corrective action for sales target achievement and implementation of service levels  15. Monitoring reports for client to ensure capturing the data of client's requirement  16. Ensure timely MIS report generation and delivery to clients   17. Maintaining regular client meetings, ensuring credit limits are maintained as per requirements and support the credit desk on collections by interacting and resolving concerns, if any i.e. effectively maintain and manage the account receivable within the stipulated and specified limit  18. Conduct annual performance review using the UNIGLOBE appraisal program and nominate staff for Regional Excellence Award at the Regional Conference.  19. Liaising and maintaining relationship with industry partners and key suppliers
