Branch Manager - Karnataka - Mobiles Handset

We have an urgent role with us with one of the biggest group for there Mobile Handset Vertical.

Designation : BM - Karnataka

Reporting : Zonal Head South

Job Responsibilities :

Business Plan Achievement :

- Responsible to achieve the Sales, Collection, Marketing and EBIDTA targets for his/her branch and ensure same are in line with Mobile division Business Plan.

- Secondary Sales (RDS to MD) target achievement as per the monthly targets shared by the Zonal Business Head in line with the business Plan

- Collection from RDS for primary billing as per the credit terms agreed in the contract

- Forecast - preparation of detailed Sales rolling plan to the ZBH for the next 3 months basis inputs from competition, distribution and team. Product range-wise

- Ensure weekly billing and achievement of targets segment wise

- Collection of Overdue (in cases of BG) from DBP within the timelines specified in the contract

- Channel Partner Productivity: Monitor the overall branch productivity and analyze the distributor wise performance to ensure product wise business targets are achieved

Business Strategy and Goals :

- Responsible to provide inputs to the management to devise business strategies for operations and product promotion and positioning.

- Ensure no gap in cascading the targets to the team and ensure same is in alignment with the business plan and goals.

- Keep a track on the budgets provided for his/her branch by evaluating the business costs and carrying out cost benefit analysis.

RDS/MD Management & Network Expansion (WOD)

- Planning and communicating monthly targets.

- Providing complete assistance to the RDS & MD's within the assigned territory to ensure secondary sales movement for e.g. timely product supply, brief of product USP, Price Structure, Schemes and liaison with Marketing executives for BTL advertisement, activities like POSM etc.

- Ensuring faster TAT to the retailers on behalf of the RDS/MD for their requirements to ensure Satisfaction, particularly in issues pertaining to customer service, logistics etc.

- Identifying distribution gaps and plan new distributors (RDS/RDS+) and MD's appointment for expanding the Channel Network and width of distribution.

- Weekly/ Daily report, RDS/MD grievances / feedback to Regional Business Manager / Circle Head for quicker resolutions & action plan.

- Visit every RDS and MD monthly to understand and resolve issues and concerns and build stronger trade relations. Visit each KRO at least once in a month.

- Monitor performance of RDS & MD and take corrective actions.

Business Operation Management & Expansion :

- Manage the business operations for his/her branch encompassing distributor and customer relationship management, administration, market analysis and development in respective markets.

- Implement channel management strategies for expansion and retention of distributor base to achieve the targeted network expansion norms.

- Model Mix Availability : Carries out Product Planning activity as per the sales plan and coordinates with central team to ensure product availability within branch as per allocated budget.

- Providing complete assistance to the RDS & MD's within the assigned branch to ensure secondary sales movement for e.g. timely product supply, brief of product USP, Price Structure, Schemes and liaison with Marketing executives for BTL advertisement, activities like POSM etc

- Ensuring faster TAT to the DBP's for their requirements to ensure satisfaction, particularly in issues pertaining to customer service, Marketing and logistics.

- Identifying distribution gaps and plan new distributors (RDS/RDS+) appointment for expanding the Channel Network for the RDS/MD

- Identifying distribution gaps and plan to appointment new MD's for expanding the width of distribution.

- Market Visits: Understand market by regular market visit to ensure and improve product visibility and confidence.

- A/C Reconciliation & Balance Confirmation: To be driven on stipulated timelines for the allocated Branch and distributors. Taking initiative to drive this agenda especially to the concerned branch on his own in accordance with the ZSM.

Inventory Management :

- Monitor inventory levels to avoid situations of stock excess and stock-outs. Ensure accounting principles of FIFO and stock ageing are strongly practiced.

- Regular monitoring and control of inventory norms, defective stock generation and liquidation.

Channel Hygiene :

- Distribution policy needs to be followed and executed as per the policy of the Organization. Strict assessment needs to be taken while appointing and terminating in DBP. A fair practice as per the guidelines of Sales Admin needs to be followed to manage overall channel hygiene in accordance with the Branch Commercial.

- Quarterly reconciliation of DBP accounts.

DMS (Distribution Management System) :

- Overview of the entire Channel (publishing on daily, monthly & weekly basis)

- Weekly Review Presentations - Ensuring that all MOM are closed & follow ups with the stakeholders as per the Business requirements

Marketing and Competition Tracking :

- Competition Tracking & Sales Promotion Strategy: Propose Media Plans and Market Research through competition tracking, sales promotion strategy.

- Responsible to track competitor promotion and marketing activities and provide inputs to the marketing team to develop branch specific marketing strategy.

- Event Management / Exhibitions / Activation's / Sponsorship's. Execute brand campaigns, event sponsorship's, dealer meets as per plan received from marketing team.

- Responsible to successfully carry out the Product Launch activities through efficient planning and coordination with all stakeholders.

- Sales enhancement and visual merchandising: To ensure desired product display, BTL activities, POP distribution as per defined guidelines.

Team Performance Review & Training :

- Regular tracking and analysis of team's performance. Counsel, Develop team & groom potentially high performers.
