Senior Manager - Finance  Reporting to Chief Operating Officer  Job Responsibilities:  - Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements of the company  - Finalization of company annual accounts and coordinating with the statutory auditors during the audit process  - Assist in preparation of company's 5 year strategic plan and annual budget  - Preparation of high quality monthly/quarterly management reporting with commentary and analytical review, including the following:  - Actuals vs budget  - Monthly performance reports to AXA IM and Bank of India  - AXA IM's Financial Management Reporting (FMR)   - AXA Group (Magnitude) financial accounting pack (quarterly)  - Quarterly reporting to Bank of India  - Prepare and file various statutory returns viz TDS, Income Tax, Service tax etc. within the stipulated period in liaison with the tax consultants   - Evaluate and provide recommendations to facilitate timely and accurate reporting, improve internal controls and processes, and improve cost effectiveness of operations and procedures. Lead implementation as appropriate  - Conduct Ledger Scrutiny on a regular basis and preparation of periodic statements for monitoring expenses/ledger balances/intercompany balances and payments   - Overseeing the responsibilities of Finance Executives with constant supervision of all activities like petty cash management, bank payment management, TDS, bank reconciliation etc.  - Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required  Applicant Requirement:  - Qualified Chartered Accountant  - 7+ years of overall experience in the finance team of a large financial firm,  - Strong accounting skills  - Knowledge of accounting and audit standards  - Understanding of direct and service tax laws  - Awareness of business, economic and regulatory environment  - Decent presentation and written communication skills  - Ability to lead a team and work with minimum supervision
