This position will primarily support the procurement of Construction, Facilities Management and other indirect commodities and projects mainly for the India, Middle East and Africa (IMEA) region. There may be requirements to support other non-production procurement commodities and activities across the globe.

Your key responsibilities will be:

- Demonstrate a mastery in procuring in support of construction projects and other indirect commodities at all project phases

- Provide oversight and proactive management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance

- Lead the negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions with full competency

- Prepare, develop and execute negotiation strategies that result in year-over-year cost savings to Boeing, contractual documents and binding agreements

- Lead cross functional teams to resolve supplier performance issues and support the development of strategic supplier solutions.

- Lead supply chain process improvement teams to identify improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies

- Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues.

- Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies.

This position may require international travel. Note that our procurement team is spread across the world, which may require supporting virtual meetings outside normal work hours.

- Manages schedules and adjusts inventory balances to meet customer requirements.

- Validates quantity, schedules, inventory balances, orders and inventory policy compliance.

- Works with internal and external customers to formalize procurement requirements.

- Leads proposal analyses and develops negotiation strategies.

- Leads the supplier negotiation process.

- Negotiates all elements of the contract.

- Prepares and executes negotiated documents.

- Ensures compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

- Manages contract terminations.

- Develops and implements contract/subcontract management plans for new business acquisition.

- Leads or participates in proposal analysis to fulfill customer and program strategic requirements.

- Leads suppliers and stakeholders in the development of risk, issue and opportunities management plans.

- Communicates across functions and programs to manage risks, issues and performance to plan.

- Manages or leads cross functional teams to deploy improved processes, systems and tools.

- Leads program and project reviews.

- Manages and analyzes supplier performance.

- Provides direction to suppliers to improve performance and ensure contractual requirements are met.

- Manages supplier import and export regulatory requirements.

- Participates on import and export compliance teams.

- Works across functions to implement continuous improvement plans.

Qualifications:

- Must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree or non-US equivalent with 3 years procurement and/or 3 years construction experience.

- Degrees or certifications in business, business management, international business & procurement (e.g. MCIPS) are desirable.

- Experience of conducting business in an international environment is desirable.
