Designation : Sales Manager/Senior Sales Manager

Work Location : Chandivali, Andheri East, Mumbai

Experience : 2-6 years (Minimum 2 years)

About the role :

- The role is to evaluate new opportunities with Buyers in the Packaging team, maximize revenue by acquiring clients with substantial leads and converting them to closures for Sales.

Key Responsibilities :

- Research and Understand the market through various mediums such as industry contacts, websites, trade events, on field survey etc. to understand areas of growth.

- Assess competitive landscape, articulate competitive positioning and create a Sales strategy for targeting prospective buyers.

- Devise a strategy to acquire relevant leads, work on quick onboarding of strategic clients & execute on it. Followup with leads aggressively.

- Design best negotiating strategies, quickly learn on the job and modify strategies with clear objective of high client on-boarding rate.

- Create and innovate on sales collateral.

- Meet potential clients and pitch the product, solicit feedback on product and services. Maintain good long term relations with all the clients.

- Record customer interactions in lead tracking and customer issue tracking systems and effectively use MIS for reporting and representing own performance on regular basis.

- Understanding company's internal operations, capabilities & targets and aligning personal targets accordingly resulting into sustainable growth.

- As the face of the organization, help in building the brand of the company in the industry, vendor and customer community.

Job Requirements :

- Candidate should have previous experience in sales of packaging or material handling goods.

- Fast learning, networking skills, sales orientation, high energy levels, ability to meet defined targets, communication & presentation skills, researching skills, sound understanding of business principles and reasoning ability.

- Sales / Marketing / Business development experience and knowledge of field sales of minimum 2 years in any industry.

- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal with strong presentation skills.

- Ability to develop strong working relationships with all relevant parties.
