Academic Background and Experience
MBA with 10+ years of experience
Experience of managing multiple programs like Manufacturing, SCM, Sales & Marketing, New product Introduction, Project Management.
Experience in Automobile & Engineering Industries of managing Business transformation, Manufacturing/Operations to achieve organization vision and goals and build culture of excellence.
Purpose: To Drive process and culture of operational excellence in the business and bring in efficiencies in Manufacturing, SCM and support processes through the use of appropriate tools and framework.
Job responsibilities
- Create and deploy operation excellence transformation agenda
- Monitor and improve on operations metrics
- Guide work teams to improve problem solving capabilities
- Helps in improving operations index and assessment of the plant by suggesting and monitoring appropriate framework with different parameters.
- Driving & Implementing the Lean programs- Cascade and deployment of organization goals to plant level
- Design Work team improvement projects analysis and handholding at various plants
- Continuously train professionals on tools and techniques in ref to operation excellence
- Facilitate mutual learnings and to set internal Benchmarks based on plant wise achievements
- Support and co-ordinate execution of initiatives with cross functional teams
- Support stakeholders in identifying the projects and resolving key business issues
- Deploy best practices on site through appropriate tools like Six Sigma, TPM, 5S activity, Kaizen events
Operating Network
Internal: President Operations, Head SCM, Head QA/RA, Head Engineering & Maintenance, Head Manufacturing, Head Safety, Head HR
External: Research Institutes, Partners and Experts.
Technical Requirements: Deep Knowledge of operations management, Expertise in Project / program management, Six Sigma, TPM, Lean programs, change management
