Biocon - Director - Quality Control - Biologics (15-20 yrs)
Key responsibilities :
- Overall monitoring of quality related activities in QC laboratory.
- Review of audit reports and CAPA response from quality control department.
- Managing the capex requirements based on the manufacturing planning and preparing the QC budgets accordingly.
- Planning related to the man power, instruments, and equipment's based on the work load and ensuring smooth functioning of the routine activities.
- Interaction with internal and external customers for any quality related queries, Method and technology transfers.
- Interaction with corporate quality systems and ensuring harmonization with corporate philosophy.
- Providing leadership within the department and ensure meeting key deliverables on time.
- Training of personnel in QC department.
- Review and resolution of customer/ regulatory complaints.
- Review of quality agreements.
- Recruitment of personnel for quality control department.
- Being part of cross functional team member and involve in key decision making.
- Review of annual performance of quality control department and updating the progress to the senior management team.
- Keep abreast of latest developments in the analytical industry and making improvements in the quality systems time to time.
