We are looking for BigData/Hadoop Experts with one of our Client specialized in E-Commerce/Internet Domain.
Big Data Analytics team provides a petabyte-scale analytics ecosystem where we store, maintain and analyze data asset.

Purpose of the Role:

Our Client is looking for strong Individual Contributors to join the BigData Analytic team as they are expanding our development team to develop tools and APIs for applications use across the platform group.

Skills Required:

1. Java/J2EE

2. Hands on Hadoop platform( Map reduce coding / hive / Pig ) any NoSQL platform

3. Proficiency in Java/J2EE. Our development is predominately in Java/J2EE & Scripting languages.

4. Database experience preferably MySQL

5. ‘Can –do’ attitude, passion for technology, strong communication skills, clear leadership skills .

6. Requirement gathering &analysis .

7. Script Development and Unit testing

8. Research and Development.

9. Responsible for developing Predictive systems

10. Creating efficient algorithms and improving data quality

11. He will work closely with the Research and Development team to identify, evaluate, design and implement statistical analyses of gathered open source

Good to have

1. API building expertise, ReST or SOAP

2. Distributed computing and network programming.

3. Script development experience in any one (Shell Script, Ruby, Perl, Python, Javaetc)

4. Machine Learning, Data mining and statistical implementations .

5. Experience in predictive modeling .

6. Scripting experience in R and BigData (hadoop)

7. SQL Knowledge , noSQL, big data, SSRS, R, Matlab ,Weka, Java, LISP .

Years of experience: 8 - 16 Years

Degree: - Phd/MTech/MS or equivalent degree (Computer Science or Statistics)
