About our Client - Our client is a multi-billion dollar global telecommunications and media company. They offer voice, data, enterprise solutions, cloud services, mobile, internet access other entertainment products. With India being a strategic growth market, they are looking at considerable growth in the India market and are thus looking for their Bid Manager for them in India, based out of Bangalore.

Job Description - Part of the India Business Unit, the incumbent will be responsible for :

- Manage relationships in the bidding context with customers (Sales and Deal teams) and all other key stakeholders besides ensuring all complex sales opportunities and proposals are assessed for commercial viability

- Work directly with the Indian System Integrator to understand their requirements and communicate these requirements to the broader GES-I team and act as the focal point between the Indian System Integrator and GES-I

- Where required, conduct initial analysis of tender requirements and identify resourcing requirements for the timely submission of the bid

- Scope and plan bid activities, schedules, and responsibilities of the bid team, including preparation of a bid plan and annotated outline

- Drive adherence to documented bid process and wider SOMP process

- Manage the bid plan/schedule and major milestones, including bid reviews besides managing Win Price determination process

- Manage the governance process under SOMP within required time frames and regularly update internal tools as required

- Schedule and facilitate regular bid progress meetings with the bid team members and minute outcomes, actions and issues arising in accordance with the Bid Plan

- Attend and/or facilitate the Deal Review Board meetings for Global bids when required and be prepared to provide information relating to timing, issues and next steps for the assigned opportunity.

- Participate in hand over activities to ensure that all aspects of the customer agreement are appropriately understood by delivery and customer service personnel.

The Successful Candidate :

- Graduate with a post graduation in management and 12-15 years of experience as follows - Experience with Bid Management roles within the IT/Telco Outsourcing Industry and global exposures on bid management.

- Strong project management skills and completed training or accreditation programs. Very strong communication & presentation skills is a must.

- Proven ability to facilitate key stakeholder meetings and subsequent action plans both internally and with clients and a demonstrated ability to work in teams and manage a complex team environment.

- Engaging and influencing stakeholders is desirable.
