Roles and Responsibilities:   - Providing support to Logistics Head in developing and executing distribution strategy for competitive advantage, cost optimization & supply availability.  - Logistics service Provider (3PL) and transport partners development & relationship management.  - Work in close conjunction with regional logistics team to develop SOPs for Logistics function.  - Design and implement network for product flow path and review (regular basis) in conjunction to total delivered cost  - Lead benchmarking initiative: costs and best practices. Implement recommendations.  - Monitoring vendor performance and feedback  - Structure change management and improvement tracking system to maintain transparency of actual impacts of various improvement projects   - Develop and execute strategies in creating value across the Logistics function on transport, handling, storage and drive company wide cost reduction initiatives to meet function budget  - Develop and execute process repository for DC and Transport  - Ensuring DC Statutory compliance and support international audit for well controlled rating across DCs   - Maintain MIS of all performance indicators of function.  Skills Required:   - Experience in supply chain, mainly in the area of distribution with rich experience/knowledge of Warehouse Management, Transportation planning, Freight Negotiation and exposure to Lean Mgmt.  - Strong strategic and commercial skills including negotiation skill.  - Excellent interpersonal & communication skills. Ability to influence at senior levels of the organization internally, 3PL partners & suppliers.  - Effective people manager. Excellent team leadership skills with proven ability of leading and developing high-performing teams.
