Main purpose of the role : This position is responsible to facilitate Supply planning processes and bring insights through data analytics and inventory management techniques within the supply chain planning systems. The position is also responsible for system adherence with respect to supply plan in APO SNP, conducting phase-in-phase-out analysis of SKUs and supporting Supply Planning Manager to delivery 98.5% fill rate. The position reports into the Supply &amp; Distribution Planning Manager. Detailed Responsibilities : - Coordinate with factory materials management team to assess the capacities and resources using contemporary tools. Ensure hygienic and safe storage of material in stores and maintain FIFO. - Ensure periodic revision of Finished Goods ( in plant), WIP, Raw Material/Packaging inventory norms for DIH ( Day of Inventory in Hand) levels based on changing business scenarios and coordinate with central functions to maximize OTIF on Finished Goods within stipulated Quality and agreed inventory norms - Represent Supply side in the Pre-Sales and Operations Planning (S&amp;OP) alignment meeting for arriving at production plan scenarios. - Coordinate with Master Data management and procurement team for the correctness of master data settings. - Contribute in development of IT systems for business to support supply planning processes and ensuring accurate flow of demand in right SKUs in APO- SNP for smooth functioning of planning processes - To ensure that FGs are shipped out timely and as per distribution/allocation of product. - To generate periodic MIS reports on Plant performance on FG production/dispatches and RM/PM to assist and optimize inventory levels. - Provide inputs for Annual Business Planning processes based on supply chain performance and ensuring accuracy and timelines of planning of production and raw materials leveraging SAP for optimal performance Ageing analysis and closures : - Identify and analyze report of slow moving SKU's and evaluate the scope of liquidation of potential write offs. - Preparation of Ageing review sheet and circulation to all stakeholders on weekly basis - Preparation of ageing analysis of inventory and reporting IT &amp; maintenance : - SAP APO-SNP supply planning updations and master maintenance - Maintain correct demand in MRP grid and timely updations of masters. Key Interfaces : - Factory Supply Planners, Demand planning team, Regional Supply Chain and MIS executives, Other category supply &amp; distribution planning manager, Procurement, Logistics and Quality/Regulatory dept. Required Qualification: - Graduate (preferably IIT, IITM or IT) with min 2-3 years experience in Data analytics or Supply Planning - Good communication skills in English - Exposure to ERP platform preferably SAP - APO DP and SNP Key Competencies required : - Strong analytical &amp; innovative skills - Good interpersonal skills - Collaborative mind-set - Strong bend towards Data Analytics and science - Excellent skills in MS-Excel - Hands on with statistical analysis tool
