Beacon is a leading Sales and Supply Chain consulting firm providing services to Global FMCG Companies. The role below is for deployment at client location for ongoing engagement.

Deployment Role: Senior Business Analyst Supply

Function: - Information System (IS)

Location- India - Gurgaon

Reporting to: Manager

Client : Global FMCG Major

Project Brief

This position will be responsible to lead and oversee the roll out of IS Supply initiatives, in particular Connected Forecasting (SAP APO and IBP Solutions) projects for Global Markets.

He/She will be working closely with IS regional leads, countriy IS Managers and various supply stakeholders in ensuring process improvements, standardization of Supply projects and initiatives in country use.

The main focus within Supply for Client is to implement common business Process and use standard systems to deliver synergy, cost savings, and drive the business forward.

This role is key to the delivery of these objectives.

The candidate must be capable of working in multi-functional and multi culture teams.

He/She should possess a detailed & in-depth understanding of the business operations both within the function and cross functionally and use of technology to gain competitive advantage.

Additionally, the role requires effective communication and team skills, the ability to formulate clear recommendations on business and technical issues and a drive to achieve within set timelines.

Responsibilities:

Lead the IS Supply business initiatives and implement projects in Global Market.

Work closely with countries, regional leads and Global teams to ensure processes commonality across supply function.

Monitor the progress of the project throughout the project life cycle following the CLIENT Project Management and Validation methodology.

Identify solutions and resolution on non-technical issues.

Have Good Understanding of SAP APO and SAP IBP solutions, ideally experience of alteast one full Cycle project on Demand forecasting and Sales and Operations Planning using SAP APO and SAP IBP

Good Analytical skills to be able to do data analysis and issue resolutions, also be aware of basic data integration concepts (Database Concepts and Basic Knowledge on the same)

Communicate to stakeholders on project progress, risks and issues

Knowledge of HANA Cloud Integration (HCI) highly desirable

Key Tasks:

Stage gate check during project life cycle for all Market where projects are being run

Prepare weekly/monthly consolidated updates during project life cycle

Prepare quarterly newsletter for Supply/IS community

Working closely with vendor resources to get development and testing done for SAP solutions

Assist in preparing Business Cases for Markets before the Projects are Kick started and monitoring the benefits post Go-Live

Functional skills:

Strong knowledge on Supply end-to-end business Processes from Sales & Operation Process to product delivery

Understanding of planning & production operations is essential.

Strong in Project management PMP certification desirable.

Commercial awareness Understand the impact on Supply chain.

Technical skills & experience:

Experience in leading any supply project particularly in Demand and S&OP planning processes using SAP tools (APO DP and SAP IBP).

In-depth knowledge on ERP system especially on Supply (Planning, Manufacturing and Distribution in particular)

Advance knowledge on excel or BI tool will be an added advantage to support with reporting and analysis.

HANA Cloud Integration (HCI) Knowledge Desirable.

Educational and Experience:

Graduate level (BE or equivalent qualification) - Post Graduate Desirable

8-10 years of experience with a leading company working in similar domain

The business language in Client is English, therefore fluency in English is essential

Travel requirements:

Must be available for periodic travel globally as required.

Client is a global business, individuals need to be aware that career.

Development may require international relocation.
