Qualification-CA

2-3 years of post qualification experience in Direct Tax (corporate tax / international tax / transfer pricing)

Sound academic record & knowledge of Indian income tax law

Ability to read and interpret case laws

Should have good knowledge of domestic tax laws and DTAA

Should have assisted his / her seniors in CIT(A) / ITAT / preparing case for opinion / briefing counsel

Legal research work on tax matters

Filed corporate tax returns

Drafted submissions for scrutiny / appeals

Follow up at tax office for refund / rectifications etc.

Handled assessments with seniors

Compiled documents relating to CIT(A) / DRP grounds of appeal / statement of facts etc.

Drafting and researching on Tax Opinions

Section 195 (foreign remittance) Certifications

Practical work exposure of MS word, excel and power-point

Basic update on tax developments in India

Transfer pricing (compliance / representation / advisory)

International taxation (compliance / representation / advisory)

FEMA / RBI related matters (compliance / representation / advisory)

Directly involved in counsel briefings

Attended International tax / TP courses / certifications / seminars / conferences

Leadership roles during / after articleship

Grasp over complex tax / TP issues and developments such as BEPS, GAAR, indirect transfers, AMP related adjustments etc.

Agreement drafting and review

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Experience in managing a team of at least 2 articled trainees

Experience in taking complete client responsibility

Leading consulting experience preferred
