Designation: Business Development Manager- Data Center Solutions

Experience: 7-12 Years

Base Location: Mumbai

Responsibilities:

Internal Business Development
a. Collaborate with the supporting team (PS/MS) and ensure they are equipped with skills in line with the DCS business objectives

b. Manage Vendor Partnerships

a. Programmes

b. Sales Support

External Business Development

Build the DCS business practice and generate awareness of Datacraft as a provider for Datacenter, Storage, Backup & Virtualization player in the region.

Internal Sales Functions:
a. Constant Education and Training of the Sales Team in the DCS business offerings and value proposition

Client Facing Skills
a. Ability to present a DCS Solution Offering to the client:

a. Preparation and Presentation of a solution

i. PowerPoint (Essential)

ii. White boarding (Desirable)

b. Carry out a discussion of DCS business value proposition discussion with an audience of IT Managers and up to CXOs (Essential)

c. Present thought leadership in a Forum (Desirable)

b. Ownership of a DCS opportunity and the ability to see it to a full close Ability to spot opportunities

Knowledge
a. Ability to articulate and present the benefits of having a consolidated Storage environment (Storage Area Network, Networked Area Storage)

b. Understand and able to articulate a high level Backup Infrastructure

a. Tape Libraries, Backup Software, concepts and theories

c. Position and articulate Virtualization as a strategy encompassing ,storage, server and networks

Experience
Essential Skills
- Vendor Storage Quota Bearing Sales Role

- EMC(preferred), Network Appliance Hitachi, IBM

- 12 years or more in a Disk Based Storage Related Industry

- Working knowledge of Virtualization, servers & Backup Software is essential

- Knowledge of competitive and related storage technologies

- Abreast of the latest developments, technologies and trends in the Storage Industry

Desirable Skills
- Knowledge in Data Centre Facilities

- Basic build and components that make up a Datacenter
- Power & Cooling
- UPS
- Structured Cabling
- Knowledge in Data Centre Relocation Practices

- Articulation of the value of Project Management

- Understand and articulate the processes and Consultancy efforts
