Basic Purpose of the Role
The basic purpose of this role is to ensure the implementation of the sales and marketing strategy at the ground level as directed by the assistant manager and to meet the defined sales targets
Role Responsibilities: Financial Perspective
Achieve the Decided Sales Targets
- Meet the sales target set by the division
Role Responsibilities: Customer Perspective
- Ensure Exceptional Customer Service and Account Maintenance
- Ensure timely follow up with the customers to ensure retention
- Attend to customer complaints immediately and try resolving them on priority basis
- Ensure prompt follow up on customer enquiry and leads generated
- Promote the entire range of products and service offerings
Role Responsibilities: Internal Process Perspective
- Maintain Updated Sales Records
- Ensure timely maintenance of reports and feedback on status arising out of received leads
- Adhere to Internal Process in the Sales Department
- Ensure return of unsold SIM cards within 24 hours to inventory
- Ensure provision of documents to support sales
- Use the MBS (Matrix Billing Systems) to generate relevant data that can address customer queries related to incorrect billing, billing cycles etc.
- Generate Point of Sale (POS) Reports
- Partner and Assist in the Marketing Activities of the Division
- Coordinate the various marketing events/road shows with other BDEs, Assistant Manager and the Marketing Department

- Enhance and Improve Product Knowledge
- Acquire complete/in-depth product knowledge of all products and services
- Develop knowledge of competitor products and be aware of offerings
Measurable Deliverables (KRAs) % achievement of the sales target as per defined targets
Conversion ratio : Actual conversions achieved out the prospective targets approached.

% of retention of corporate customers

Education - Graduate. - Preferably MBA
Experience - 6 months+

- Ability to identify influencers and decision makers
- Basic MS Office skills, basic knowledge about industry & industry dynamics and basic General Knowledge

Key Interactions
(Internal)
Stocks-Stockist & Pickup (reverse logistics) : To properly manage inventory
Billing : To address customer issues related to status of payment, wrong billing etc.
Customer Care: To resolve of network issues and escalation of unresolved customer complaints
Collections : To check on customer issues as and when needed
Key Interactions (External)
Customers : To target conversions, ensure follow ups, collect references , look for tie ups etc
Channels like travel agencies & student consultants - To collect contact information and other details about prospective customers
