BD/Marketing Manager - Fire Safety & Security (7-10 yrs)

We are looking for a Business Development & Marketing Manager for one of our client in Fire Safety & Security. Below is the detailed Job Description for the same.

Job purpose:

- Responsible for all sales and marketing activities of the company and implementation of the Business plan, which includes: prospecting, lead generation and qualification, presentation development and follow-up.

Position:

- We are seeking for a dynamic individual to be Business Manager reporting directly to the Director

- The job incumbent would be managing the operations of Sales & Marketing activities across locations.

- He / She Must have a revenue orientation and be comfortable with numbers including excel/number crunching.

- He shall be responsible for new strategic alliances by preparing proposals, presentation and concept notes.

- He must be able to work closely with the OEM's platform and maintain a constant wire with clients.

- Fit- within a broader organization with a strong brand and culture is essential. In addition, he will be bright, diplomatic, analytical and of the highest integrity.

Role:

- Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share.

- Sustains rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities.

- Determines annual and gross-profit plans by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products; analyzing trends and results; establishing pricing strategies; recommending selling prices; monitoring costs, competition, supply, and demand.

- Evaluate the financial aspects of product development, such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, and return-on-investment and profit-loss projections

- Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.

- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Skills & Competencies:

- Should have an entrepreneurial streak in oneself and the desire to make things happen

- Internal motivation and a high desire to achieve.

- Reasonable lateral thinking and ability to come with new ideas and solutions to problems

- Demonstrate Patience and resilience especially during the period from spawning of new business ideas to the point of closure.

- Management and team-building skills, including the ability to build and mentor a high performance team and manage the projects efficiently.

- Good Execution Skills

- Techno - commercial Knowledge

- Client Management

Qualification: BE/ME with 7 - 10 years of expereince in Mechanical/Enginerring role.
