The Business Development Manager identifies, evaluates and manages new business opportunities and market initiatives. This position establishes relationships with potential end users and connects the new end user with the appropriate internal resource. The incumbent will work closely with market managers to identify and evaluate opportunities
Requirements
- Graduate Degree in Engineering / Science and Post Graduate in Management
- 5-7 years experience in sales & marketing, with at least 2-3 years in business development in the DOMESTIC Pharma Segment / industry
- Knowledge of Target Market (Pharma Segment)
- Strategic thinking
- Considers industry / market factors when making decisions
- Pursues initiatives to capitalize on strengths and market opportunities and to counter competitive threats
- Aligns the strategic priorities of own area with the direction and strategic priorities of key stake holders
- Creates strategies to balance short term requirements with long range business plans
- Influencing others
- Identifies the agendas, concerns and motivation of others
- Negotiates persuasively to create win-win solution for all parties
- Cultivates networks to garner support and create a foundation for future influence
The candidates from top India Pharma companies like Ranbaxy, Cipla, Dr Reddy's but who have worked in atleast 3-4 Indian pharma companies whereby they have already built a network
