BD Manager - Fund Administration (7-15 yrs)

Client: is a leading independent global provider of corporate and fiduciary services, fund administration and other financial services on behalf of multinational companies, real estate investment funds, private investors and/or their advisors.

- Purpose of the job: identify opportunities in the market, contact and contract new clients and build and maintain relationship with potential and existing clients as well as analyze and assess the profitability and risk of (potential) new service/products, within organizational commercial and risk policies, in order to optimize revenue/market share and strengthen a competitive position.

Main Job Responsibilities:

- Marketing Plan: conduct market research and accumulate market intelligence in order to develop or contribute to the definition of marketing plans for the assigned area or client group.

- Business Development: identify target clients and appropriate contacts for the future business within assigned area and capitalize on new business developments as the market changes in order to broaden services or generate new business.

- Prospecting: keep activity levels high in terms of cold calling, follow ups, meetings, attending seminars, conferences and other events in order to ensure that the pipeline is continually strong.

- Brand Management: ensure the development of marketing and communication material in adherence to corporate brand guidelines and visual identity in order to contribute to an optimal positioning of the company.

- Relationship Management: build and maintain multiple business relations with potential and existing clients and/or other (internal/external) stakeholders in order to guarantee a satisfactory level of long-term relationships and maintain an optimal position in the market and access to relevant relations.

- Contracts: negotiate with clients on conditions, close deals and coordinate the following contracting and closing procedure in order realize commercial targets.

- Knowledge and Development: develop and update business skills and professional knowledge, recognize training needs (for yourself and staff) and ensure the development and exchange of knowledge among professionals within the office in order to realize the desired knowledge level.

- Work Standards and Procedures: follow and ensure existing work standards and procedures, properly use internal/external systems, initiate, propose and ensure implementation improvements in procedures and systems in order to optimize work processes and ensure service quality.

- (Optional) People Management: plan resources in line with business demands, participate in the recruitment and selection process, lead, coach, develop and appraise employees in order to optimally manage, engage and retain staff.

- Use ones’ understanding of commercial drivers , products, offerings and market trends affecting business to evaluate the viability of current and new business proposals with an emphasis on cost, revenue and profitability.

Quality & Risk Management:

- Diligently implement processes with team to ensure compliance and reduce risk and communicate high quality standards seeking opportunities to implement efficiencies.

Decision-Making:

- Demonstrate ability to solve problems by recommending viable options, seeking agreement and taking ownership for implementing solutions; contribute to department objectives.
