Senior Risk Specialist (Associate) - Solvency II

B&B Analytics is looking for a Solvency II Risk Specialist based in Mumbai. We are currently seeking candidates who have sound knowledge of Solvency II and hands on experience on Pillar 3 - disclosure and reporting. This opportunity is ideal for Actuarial Managers or Analysts at large insurance companies or risk consultancies who have been involved in building up risk measurement and reporting processes from scratch. The opportunity is well suited to those who are looking to move into a more independent yet fast paced working environment where they will be exposed to several insurance portfolios.

The Role:

- Help set up the Solvency II valuation and reporting practice including processes related to data capture and reconciliation, data mapping and analysis, and Pillar III reporting

- Thoroughly understand client requirements and satisfy them accordingly

- Drive collaboration with internal support and external vendor teams and ensure timely execution of all deliverables

- Continuously monitor changes to regulation, assess business impact and adapt processes accordingly.

Candidate Profile:

- At least 4 years of experience within leading insurance or risk consulting firm with proficiency on Solvency II projects in the insurance sector

- Qualified actuary/CAA/MBA/Accountant/FRM

- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including VBA), Powerpoint and Word

- Personable and professional manner

- Self-motivated, dynamic personality

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Motivated and driven to succeed, entrepreneurial, able to work both independently and as a successful team player, flexible, with excellent organizational skills
