ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  1. Develop and maintains a broad-based network of allies and stakeholders at national and state level supportive of our Seeds projects, products and technologies.  2. Leverages this network to assist in achieving business objectives and promoting public confidence.  3. Required to assist with government lobbying at national and state level discussions and stakeholder relationship building under the guidance and support of the Seeds Market Acceptance Senior Manager and Seeds APAC Regional Market acceptance head.  4. Be responsible for the collation, database input (eg via Pulse) and archiving of all business related current, company, industry and government policy and communication materials to enable efficient and timely access when needed.  5. Assist the development and implementation of the companys internal and external expert information strategy in compliance with the corporate communication principles and the Global Seeds Market acceptance team guidance.  6. Support development of core messages in line with the companys strategy for internal and external stakeholder engagement and outreach.  7. Proactively monitoring, identifying and assessing issues that will have impact on our present and future businesses, from a public acceptance, political and legislative perspective.  8. Support key external and internal stakeholder events at national and state level.  9. Manage the Seeds Market Acceptance activities, tools and events.  WHO YOU ARE:  1. Masters or Degree in Biology Sciences / Agriculture/ Economics//Communications/Masters in Business Administration.  2. Fluency in English language and the local language  3. Experience at least 5 years professional experience in field of Government Affairs, Public Affairs and communications in influencing Government or key stakeholder decisions related to agriculture.  4. High understanding of scientific, technical aspects of plant biotechnology, seed production and agriculture as well as the regulatory, political and business aspects of the country.  5. Outstanding communication/persuasion and presentation and representation skills.  6. Excellent editorial and writing skills essential and excellent team and inter-personal skills.  7. Understanding of functioning of government at Federal and provincial level.  8. Proper understanding of political dynamics of agriculture sector.  9. Very good understanding of our seeds and plant biotech business environment in India.  10. Able to express complex issues and facts in simple words in English, orally and in written
