Bayer - AGM - Finance & Accounts

The position leads the Zonal Accounts function for two zones of Bayer CropScience. Some of the key responsibilities of the position are:

Robust Credit Management in Zone:

- Evaluate and recommend customers credit limits annually and periodically.

- Create and maintain customer master and credit master

- Establish and implement Credit Management Tools like scoring model, Block order approval application etc.

Discount Monitoring and Management:

- Implement Discount Monitor tool to track discount expenses and realization from products vis-à-vis budgets

- Prepare variance analysis to understand the deviation in discount expenses v/s Last year, Last quarter.

Cost Management & profit monitoring:

- Implement budgetary control measures for Revenue Expense at Zones

- Prepare annual cost budgets for major Zonal Spends like Freight, Travel, Communication, C&F etc.

Compliance of various tax laws, adherence of Management Circulars and company policies:

- Ensure adherence to Accounting Standards (REX II) and Group guidelines

- Ensure correct and timely booking of all expenses for accurate financials

- Prepare financial schedules as per audit requirements each quarter/ annual.

Management of Indirect Taxation of BCS and other Group companies in all the states of Zone:

- Accurate and timely management of Tax liabilities like VAT, TDS, ensuring compliances to various state and central rules and obligations.

- Obtain all Forms for submission to department as per deadlines

Inventory & Asset management:

- Conduct physical verification of stock at all depots/ warehouses in Zones.

- Ensure process to account for all shortages, damages, losses of stocks

Eligibility:

- Chartered Accountant, DISA (ISA), LL.B.

- 12 - 15 years of post qualification industry experience in managing the accounting function in various geographies across India.

- Experience in Agrochemical, FMCG, White Goods industry preferred.
