Business Analysis Manager/Data Scientist

Job Description :

Business Analysts/Data Scientists on our team partner with product managers, engineers, design, marketing, business operations in a truly cross-functional team to drive product strategy and product decisions by:

- Extracting and analyzing data to derive actionable insights.

- Formulating success metrics for completely novel products, socializing them, and creating dashboards/reports to monitor them.

- Designing and analyzing experiments to test new product ideas and converting the results into actionable product recommendations that you communicate.

- As an end consumer of the data, determining tracking that is necessary to enable analytics of our products and features, by working closely with Product & Engineering partners

- Enabling others in the organization to utilize your work by onboarding measurement of new metrics onto our self-serve data system and experimentation platform.

- Developing models and data-driven solutions that add material lift to principal performance metrics.

Required qualifications include:

- BS/MS in a quantitative discipline: Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Economics, etc. from a Tier 1 school (IITs, IIMs, IISc, ISI)

- 2+ years experience working with large amounts of real data with SQL (Teradata, Oracle, or MySQL) and R, or other statistical package.

- 1+ years programming experience

- 1+ years experience designing A/B tests, analyzing results

- Able to translate business objectives into actionable analyses.

- Able to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications include:

- Experience with gaming, e-commerce other Consumer Internet products.

- Knowledge in mobile analytics is a strong plus

- Expertise in applied statistics, understanding of controlled experiments.

- Experience working with global teams
