BarShala - Training Manager - Food & Beverage

]Job Summary :

- Training Manager will provide all supporting training programs for the BarShala team members in order to enable them to perform their duties more effectively and to ensure great experience for the guests

Job Description :

- Create / update training materials to make them more relevant to the needs of the organization

- Develop internal training competencies and establish training structure for on-the-job training that will support career development and advancement of team members

- Initiate, co-ordinate, execute and follow-up on all training activities within all the restaurants

- Monitor the on-going training activities in every restaurant and if needed provide training support like - co-facilitating the course with the in house trainers and/or provide sense of direction in their training endeavors

- Keep track of the training hour goal of 50-60 hours/employee/year and include this in the monthly and annual training report

- Coordinate with Managers in relation to administration of employee performance reviews and identify performance gaps that can be addressed by training

- Maintain a monthly training calendar. Ensuring and providing ongoing feedback and follow-up on employee and management related challenges

- Assist in the creation, implementation and facilitation of a Restaurant Training Plan and any other corporate learning initiatives

- Create and promote a quality-focused approach to service within the Food & Beverage Outlets

- Continuously identify new ways of improving quality within the department

- Train team members on Departmental Operating Standards (SOPs)
