BSS South Africa was launched in 2012 and currently has more than 4,000 employees.  Position: Analyst / AVP / VP - Compliance Business Management and Strategy (AVP and VP - people management role)  Looking for:  - Bachelors Degree or equivalent  - Over 5 years experience in Financial services   - Experience in a banking financial accounting or MI team  - Qualified accountant with a globally recognised accounting qualification e.g. ACCA or CIMA  - Should have experience of or be qualified in standard project methodology i.e. Prince 2  - Should have be involved in or have experience of process / improvement methodology i.e. six sigma or Lean  Core team activities:  - Supporting the implementation of the objectives of the Compliance Business planning and headcount operations function (within Compliance COO) in collaboration with our HR and Resourcing Business Partners with a focus on financial planning and forecasting.   These objectives include:  - Collaborating with Group Finance to provide monthly financial reporting and MI with clear transparent commentary for Compliance Sub-function heads to ensure that financials are understood, and variances to Budgets and Forecasts are explained.  - Working with Business stakeholders to drive clear financial planning over the short, medium and long term.  - Working with Business stakeholders to develop and implement a clear, robust and agreed cost allocations methodology that enables the heads of function to clearly articulate the drivers of cost to its Business stakeholders  - Working as part of a compliance sub-function focused pod to ensure that Headcount and Financial data are aligned for their allocated compliance sub-function  - Ensuring that cost and headcount targets are agreed and understood by the compliance sub-function heads  - Driving continuous improvement in our Financial and headcount processes ensuring that we work in a standardised and documented way across the compliance function globally  The team will be responsible for a range of transactional financial responsibilities which include:  - Purchase Order creation and management  - Consultancy authorisation process and management  - Invoice processing  - Management of authorities across Compliance cost centres for invoice sign off and payments  - Management of Compliance cost centre mappings and static data  - Management of headcount and position / organisation management in HR systems (SAP)  - Creation of standard monthly reporting packs and monthly HC/Cost reconciliations  The role holder will have overall responsibility for other activities as follows:  - Providing input into Finance processes related to staff costs  - Driving the creation and implementation of standard reporting outputs for the compliance management team for the purposes of headcount reporting and headcount planning  - Build and maintain a collaborative and transparent working relationship with, regional and Business aligned compliance COOs, Business Chiefs of Staff, Compliance HR Business partners, Resourcing Business Partners and Group Finance Business partners  - Establish strong network within the Compliance function  - Provide input into functional effectiveness targets to be reported to the Compliance Management Team (CMT) including, hiring, attrition and mobility.  - Own specific new and ongoing project streams including both process and technical change, opportunity to work closely with COO dedicated change team.  - The candidate will be highly flexible and will at times be required to support other streams of work across the COO function  Kindly revert back with your updated profile in word format.  Sharada Shah Resourcing Business Partner  Barclays Shared Services, Block B-6, Phase II, Level 15, Nirlon Knowledge Park,  Off Western Express Highway, Goregaon (East), Mumbai - 400063 I Barclays.com
