Opening with a Leading Analytics Firm for Analytical Lead - Cochin

This position will lead the onsite team and will work with bank’s internal team to understand key priorities and build analytical outputs and deliverables.

The role will also take on the role of setting up the required processes and educate the internal stakeholders on leveraging analytics.

Note:- The Candidate will required to work with their Leading Client in Cochin

Job Description

Client facing :- Estimated share of time – 40%

- Understand client business requirements and map the existing processes associated with risk analytics/reporting

- Build analytics solutions and tools to address client requirements. Complete documentation of the design documentation

- Manage ongoing delivery of the engagement and manage various stakeholders at client end

- Manage critical client relationships and increase the depth of relationships

- Present findings of the BIU team to the client senior leadership on a monthly basis

- Evangelize analytics and uncover new requirements

Delivery Management :-Estimated share of time – 60%

- Develop analytical methodologies to solve key customer problems

- Work with the bank IT team to extract data and build data marts

- Assign tasks to the team of analysts and monitor progress

- Lead a team of analysts a manage motivations levels and output quality

- Do accurate estimation of the capacity requirements a

- Document the processes and outputs for future use

Secondary responsibilities:-

- Assist senior management to win new opportunities

- Actively participate in brainstorming sessions for product development and marketing strategies

- Participate in skill assessment certifications when needed

- Thought leadership and proactive knowledge upgrading

Key Skills:

- 5+ years of relevant work experience in Banking Analytics

- Expert level SAS , SAS EG and SAS Eminer

- Experience within a Bank BIU a plus

- Basic knowledge of data warehousing concepts

- Understanding of how Bank Core Banking works
