Job Description:   - The manager/lead of BI has primary responsibility for setting the vision and for managing the day-to-day tactical operations of the BI teams.  - Candidate will work cross-functionally with product management, operations, technical, sale, and the Analytics team to vet, prioritize, and manage projects.  - The manager/lead of BI will lead his/her teams by executing a vision for the delivery of information and analytics platforms and solutions to the business's key stakeholders.  - This position will be ultimately responsible for helping transform the company into a business that truly differentiates and competes on information and analytics.  Responsibilities:  - Establish and manage team structure, goals, and agenda.  - Manage team staff and prioritize projects.  - Lead cross-functional team communication and develop cross-functional partnerships.  - Data sourcing and preparation from multiple sources - databases, spreadsheets, big data stores, external clients  - Manage measurement report preparation for teams across the company. Provide useful information delivery via portals, email and mobile  - Execute analytical and data exploration projects for teams across the company. Lead the team towards advanced / predictive analytics  - Participate in preparation and presentation of project results and outcomes.   - GRC (Governance, Risk, Compliance) aspects of BI and data management  Requirements:  - Bachelor's or Master's degree from a top institution in an analytical field (such as Computer Science, Engineering, Operations, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or similar).  - 5+ years of work experience in a quantitative field, during which both analytical capabilities have been clearly demonstrated  - 2+ years management experience, ideally in a role involving online research or measurement  - Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to influence outcomes and communicate technical content to general audiences  - Strong HQL / SQL skills  - Experience with packages such as QlikView, Tableau, R, MATLAB, SAS, etc. preferred  - Excellent statistical and research - design skills (e.g. experimental design, significance testing, regression modeling, etc.)  - Extensive experience in multidimensional data modeling, such as star schemas, snowflakes, denormalized models, handling - slow-changing- dimensions/attributes.  - Excellent understanding of key BI trends and a solid understanding of the BI vendor landscape   - Experience working with large data-sets is a plus. Must have a solid understanding of leading edge technologies and best practices such as Big Data
