Baker Tilly DHC - Assistant Manager - IFRS/Ind AS (3-6 yrs)
- Thorough understanding of Ind AS including evaluation of impacts on business in identifying accounting and reporting differences between current accounting policies and practices and Ind AS requirements.
- Leading Ind AS GAAP convergence engagements involving planning, co-ordination and overall project management. This includes being focal point for key client personnel.
- Understanding impact assessment of Ind AS on design and business processes.
- Responsible for review of deliverables and give key inputs to the team and for the final deliverables to the client.
- Follow-up of developments and external publications relating to IFRS/ Ind AS.
- Assist in developing new templates/ guides/ deliverables to support the convergence project.
- Research new developments and updates within the Ind AS technical field and make client and team aware of the impact on the existing accounting treatment/framework.
- Assist in developing Ind AS training material and facilitate training.
Audit
- Involved in carrying out Statutory audit / Limited Reviews/ Tax Audit
Desired candidate profile:
- Good technical knowledge under Ind AS/ IFRS and have completed IFRS/ Ind AS training from ICAI or reputed organisation. Completed ACCA course will be preferred.
- Good experience on Audit/ financial reporting under IGAAP / IFRS. Preferably should have handled few IFRS engagements.
- Have the ability to work under stringent deadlines and demanding client conditions
- Be willing to travel within India or abroad for continuous/ long periods of time.
- Have strong soft skills like inter personal, team and communication skills both verbal and written.
