CANDIDATES WORKING IN CONSULTING FIRM ARE PREFERRED.

Competencies:

1) Cause and effect for the taxable condition of clients

2) All types of filing forms

3) Interrelation between filing and other tax services

4) The structure and effect of income tax treaties

5) The permanent establishment concept

6) Passive income subjects, including: immovable property, dividends, interest, royalties, beneficial ownership and capital gains

7) Dependent services, principles of transfer pricing, Concepts and international investment vehicles, including: int. group structure, financing / financial instruments and cross border acquisitions

8) Participate in tax due diligence reviews

9) Assist in the development and implementation of national tax structuring advice

10) Should be are aware of client expectations regarding controversial issues

11) Have a basic understanding of the ability to represent the client before any tax authority on contested issues

12) Can handle routine questions from clients with assistance.

Job Responsibilities:

1) Tax planning (domestic as well international taxation) by applying the relevant clauses of Direct Tax Avoidance Agreement (DTAA)

2) Preparation for the hearing before CIT(A)/ITAT / arguing the appeals before CIT(A)

3) Preparation for the hearing before CIT(A)/ITAT

4) Attending the assessment proceedings.

5) Involve dealing with International Tax and treaties related matter & handling FEMA / RBI compliance

6) Representation before tax authorities for scrutiny assessments, Income Escaping Assessments, Rectification & other incidental matters

7) Ensure delivery of quality work & d take day to day leadership of delivery team & make sure compliance of all aspects of taxation

8) Identifying new markets and attracting new clients.
