1. Achieve sales & contribution targets for the region  - To generate sales through the sales team consisting of Area Sales Managers, Sales Executives and long arm sales personnel.   - Increase the productivity of sales team and increase category wise sales.  - To maintain and nurture good business relations with dealers & distributors and ensure long term channel capability as per terms and policy.  - Monitor outstanding & Inventory on regular basis to ensure that working capital deployed is within the norms.  2. Sales planning -   - To introduce new products & implement new marketing plans.  - To prepare a distribution plan for the Region as per the Channel policy.  - To prepare sales forecasting and task setting per market, per Area Manager, per Area Sales Executive, per dealer/ distributor.   - To suggest from time to time, special sales incentive plans for dealers/ distributors and their sales staff..   - Monitor the slow moving/ dead stock & formulate action plan to liquidate the same.  - Increase the CEI (Collection Efficiency Index) of every branch.  - Formulate scheme plans for weaker/ low performing areas.  - Increase the visibility of products in the market.  3. Competitor analysis -   - Monitor market trends and competition activity for each market and provide feedback to internal teams.  - To organize, in conjunction with suitable agencies, sales promotion campaigns, dealer-meet, and product launch demos, product displays etc.  4. Sales administration -   - To ensure product availability across regions.  - Monitor MIS reports on sales/ collection/ CEI/ TSI performance/ District performance/ top dealers performance/ product movement/ overdues & outstanding on a monthly basis.  - To generate monthly contact / visit plan for self, Area Managers and Sales Executives (for over 90 days outstanding) based on regional requirements and monitor compliance.  - To co-ordinate and ensure timely deliveries and execution of orders across the Region in conjunction with Area Managers / Sales Executives.  - To effectively communicate and implement trade loads / schemes across the region, within approved levels, in line with budgeted profitability levels, through a well designed and monitored communication process.  - Ensure to develop the team for future challenges, upgraded roles and higher responsibilities.  5. People Management  - To motivate & guide the teams to ensure best output from them.  - To provide feedback to teams from time to time about their performance, areas of strength and improvement.  6.
