JOB DESCRIPTION
Function/ Dept.: Legal & Compliance Department
Primary Profile -Litigation:
- Handling Court Cases: Civil, Criminal, Consumer & Employee, in the assigned States, in coordination with Legal Department and updating the Head Office as to the status of the Cases.
- Handling Police Investigations, Police Complaints, Filing of Complaints & Process, follow-up and Liaisoning.
- Coordination for all Legal Cases with Advocates and follow-up.
- Liaison with various Authorities, including Labour Authorities, on the case to case basis.
- Handling Legal Notices and Customer Complaints.
- MIS (Weekly/Fortnightly/Monthly) and Reporting.
- Property Agreements, Stamp Duty, Registration and Advocate Follow-up as per requirement.
- Handling escalated issues.
- Coordinating between the Branches, Advocates & Head Office.
Ancillary profile
- Contract Management: Drafting, vetting, review of various agreements & related drafts, Proof reading of the original/ scan copies of the document and analyzing the legal and compliance requirements.
- Compliance: Regulatory Compliances, update, follow up on assigned issues, preparation of MIS and maintenance of records, drafting communications (both internal & external)
Core Competencies required for the role/profile:
- Knowledge of Laws, process & procedures especially Insurance law, Civil and Criminal law.
- Experience in handling Court Cases and Police Investigations & practices.
- Drafting skills, Analytical Skills, and knowledge of Computers, MS-Office, and the Internet. Advanced level of expertise in MS Excel is preferred.
- Willingness and ability to coordinating with Branches, Depts., teams, entities as per requirement and Liaisoning skills.
- Willing to Travel, as and when required.
- Fluency in English, Hindi and any other regional language (required).
Age: 25-35 (Male/Female)
Educational Qualifications: LLB from reputed University with relevant minimum experience of 4-6 years.
