Position : Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager

Purpose of the Job :

- Part of financial reporting and controls team.

- Responsible for monthly book closure and maintaining controls over financial reporting.

- Adhering to the processes and controls.

- Delivering all reports timely like : review of financial MIS with FC, CFO, AA, CEO; preparation of financial statements as per IRDAI formats, support transition to Ind AS, conversion of financial statements to schedule III format for consolidation with parent company, disclosure of financials on website and in newspaper, update financial data on IRDAI BAP portal

- Support quarterly audit of books of accounts.

- Interact with other functions like actuarial, investment, compliance, legal, operations, etc

Major Challenges :

- Accuracy of numbers

- No room for error

- Adherence to statutory timelines

- Analysis and availability of responses to queries from senior management

- Ability to manage adhoc requirements
