BA Continuum India Pvt. Ltd. supports business process, information technology and knowledge process across Consumer Banking, including Card and Home Loans, Legacy Asset Servicing, Global Banking and Markets, and Global Wealth and Investment Management lines of business at Bank of America.

Global Markets Technology & Operations provides end-to-end technology solutions for Global Markets businesses including Equities, Prime Brokerage, Interest Rates, Currencies, Commodities, Derivatives and Structured Products. Across all these products, solutions include architecture, design, development, change management, implementation and support using various enterprise technologies. In addition, GMT&O provides Sales, Electronic Trading, Trade Work Flow, Pricing, Market Risk, Middle office, Collateral Management, Credit Risk, Post-trade confirmation, Settlement and Client service processes for Trading, Capital Markets, Wealth Management businesses.

Job Description: Technology Lead

Experience: 10-15 years

Education: Bachelor of Engineering

The Global Market Operations Technology team in India is a core technology team focused on developing & maintaining software related to Trade processing, Settlement & Clearing of Cash Equity, Equity Derivatives and Fixed Income Instruments.

- A candidate filling this position in the group must have solid experience developing high quality & scalable solutions for the Securities Technology teams.

- Candidate must be well versed in any of the programming language like C++/Python along with strong knowledge of Database (SQL/Oracle) side programming. Most of the development will be done on a Windows platform, so they must show an in depth knowledge of that as well.

- Candidate must have good knowledge of Agile methodology and should have expertise in developing software using TDD approach.

- The delivery standards for the software, and its criticality to the business, are exacting hence a candidate will be expected to have strong skills in the software development processes and a strong feeling of ownership for the delivery and the quality of the software.

Responsibilities:

This particular position, of Technology Lead, encompasses the following responsibilities:

- Being part of Scrum team with in Global Securities Technology Team, work on developing software by extending and enhancing the current technology solution to meet immediate and longer-term Business requirements.

- Be Hands on design, development, testing and deployment of software applications/Reconciliations supporting the business.

- Work closely with colleagues in the Regional GMOT technology team and other technology teams to collaborate on delivering integrated solutions.

- Responsible for the Agile transformation of the team

- Build a strong techno-functional team

- Be a Good team player and can work independently and proactively solve problems.

- Manage stakeholder and team

- Provide on ground leadership and mentor teams and individuals

Requirements Skills Required:

- Expertise in Python/Scala programming. Exposure to C++/Java is also desirable.

- Knowledge Windows experience

- Strong knowledge of Agile Methodology.

- Experience on Test Driven Development & Continuous Integration.

- Exposure to tools like Jenkins/Cucumber.

Domain Skills Desired:

- Good Understanding of Securities Processing - Asset Servicing, Settlements, Transaction Processing, Corporate Actions or any other Global markets functions.
