BA Continuum India Pvt. Ltd. supports business process, information technology and knowledge process across Consumer Banking, including Card and Home Loans, Legacy Asset Servicing, Global Banking and Markets, and Global Wealth and Investment Management lines of business at Bank of America.

Global Markets Technology & Operations provides end-to-end technology solutions for Global Markets businesses including Equities, Prime Brokerage, Interest Rates, Currencies, Commodities, Derivatives and Structured Products. Across all these products, solutions include architecture, design, development, change management, implementation and support using various enterprise technologies. In addition, GMT&O provides Sales, Electronic Trading, Trade Work Flow, Pricing, Market Risk, Middle office, Collateral Management, Credit Risk, Post-trade confirmation, Settlement and Client service processes for Trading, Capital Markets, Wealth Management businesses.

Job Description

- Responsible to Lead the Risk Technology Stream within FICC business line with 60/40 work split in team management and hands on work.

- Manage multiple teams with different functions like Development, QA, Operations and Risk.

- To play significant role in firm’s strategic goal to build global Enterprise Risk platform using the Quartz framework and drive strategy around retiring the ODR framework and Legacy Martini platform in next 3-5 years.

- The Role requires through knowledge of Rates products.

- Strong technical, man management skills and experience in variety of core & aligned technologies like Java, C, C++, Databases (Sybase, SQL, Oracle) and scripting languages

- Hands on experience in Software Designing and Development

- Significant experience in managing a team of 15-20 members

- Good understanding on SDLC processes and Agile methodology

- Extensive work exposure in Investment banking, Any exposure in FICC business will take preference

- Fundamental understanding on trade life cycle of FX, Rates and Fixed Income products

- Work exposure in different Pricing models, Financial Risk Analysis, exposure and margin calculations, Regulatory reporting, etc.

- Strong interpersonal skills and fluent written and verbal communication

- Ability to multitask and deal with pressure situations.

Responsibilities

Please elaborate on Tactical level core delivery responsibilities

- Trusted Partner to global and local Tech managers in the development of technology strategies / execution. And create a competitive advantage by partnering with key internal and external peers to incorporate emerging technologies.

- Build, manage and retain team of high caliber, experienced technologists.

- Develop strategies to enhance the overall efficiencies by leading from front in detailed analysis/improvements of applications and processes.

- Implement application control standards that manage considerable financial and/or operational risk to the organization and external customers and clients.

Responsible for ensuring all regulatory and risk compliance standards are met.

- Collaborate with larger Technology team for the common functions like Code Reviews, Design/Architecture, QA / Prod Support. Participating in Design and Release cycles across to ensure team integration.

Requirements

Must Have Skills (these should ne the non negotiable skills for the job)

Education Qualification:

- Bachelors or Masters in Technology (or MCA equivalent) in a reputed Academic Institution Tier1 or Tier2.

- Good handle on mathematical concepts, such as financial engineering/advanced calculus/statistical modeling/concepts of probability; Theoretical pricing characteristics (e.g. the Greeks) and/or advanced trading analytics;

- Developing technology in support of trading capital markets asset classes.

- Extensive experience in the capital markets business and processes (e.g. pricing of derivatives, trade lifecycle, electronic trading/algorithmic trading, electronic market making) from an application development perspective.

- Knowledge of SEC, FINRA, Dodd Frank, Basel, and/or other industry regulations in building technology.

Experience Level: Mention the years of experience bracket and any functional domain/projects types that you want to stress on.

- 12+ years experience in application development including 8+ years experience in the capital markets and investment banking industry;

- 2 + years leading portfolio of team across SDLC teams in an right-shore model with responsibility for providing direction on recruitment, delivery and coordination of activities between on and off-shore teams in capital markets industry
