Introduction:

A role exists for a highly motivated, industry established, senior professional within the F&O and OTC Clearing Operations Management Team (Group Size 24) who is looking to further expand an already successful career in the field of Futures & Options and OTC Clearing.

The department has a Market Operation which comprises of, Clearing, Deliveries, Regulatory / Exchange and Process Control, Strategy, Client Service and Documentation Teams. This structure is replicated regionally in Chicago and Singapore processing trading activity over 60+ Exchanges. As well as an established track record with regards to listed futures, the function is currently expanding its capabilities with regards to centrally cleared OTC products, i.e Interest Rate and Credit Default Swaps

Role Description:

- Manage the EMEA Listed Futures & OTC Clearing Operation (Team Size 25 FTE)

- The role is a direct report to the EMEA Head of F&O and OTC Clearing Operations

- Responsible for managing the integrity of day to day controls across 60+ Exchanges cleared & processed by the Operation, liaison with impacted downstream process owners including :

a) Line of Business e.g operational capacity to facilitate client requests

b) FCA/EMIR Transaction Reporting

c) Client Money and other Control functions

d) Exchanges and Industry Forums

e) Continuous Improvement of the Operating Environment with regards to STP awareness of changing F&O and OTC Clearing Regulatory environment.

- Partners Closely with Technology, Operations Strategy & Front Office to drive change

- Works closely with other managers within Global Market Operations and Compliance to ensure consistent

Required Skills:

- Senior level Futures industry experience working for a FCM, Exchange, Clearing House or Regulator

- Demonstrates leadership excellence, having led an organization in the past delivering superior tangible /

- Exhibit the ability to switch between macro and micro operating principles in order to design, lead and

- Understand and adapt to regulatory and industry change (with EMIR, Trans Reporting, Client Money,

- Proven track record of achieving results optimizing resources and driving efficiencies.

- Excellent communication, effective with subordinates, peers and senior management

- Strength in identifying and implementing solutions for process improvement

- Hire, manage and develop staff. Ensure excellent performance in their current role and rotation

- Experience using Sungard GMI system

- Experience with derivative clearing middleware systems, Global Seals, ClearVision, Prysm

Experience: 13+ years minimum total experience with minimum 5+ years in Futures & Options

Education Qualification: B. Com / MBA (Finance)
