Axtria - Associate/Sr Associate/Engagement Manager - Banking Analytics

Role Objective: Drive analytics projects in Axtria's banking practice, in the areas of risk, compliance, strategy and operations, and contribute heavily to practice-building activities

Inviting smart, driven data analytics professionals across levels, to become a part of the high-growth and dynamic BFSI practice at Axtria.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver on client engagements - Design and execute analytics projects; manage client communications, and identify additional opportunities

- Thought Leadership - Undertake initiatives for practice development, help build analytics capabilities, service offerings and products; come up with new ideas for growth of the practice and take them to completion

- Manage client relationships independently

- Manage a team of seasoned data professionals

Eligibility Criteria:

- Education: Engineering or econometric from top-tier institutes; MBA preferred but not necessary for engagement manager roles

- Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience for associates and senior associates, and minimum of 4-7 years of relevant experience for engagement manager

- Relevant experience includes: statistical modeling in banking domain; strategy and operations consulting for banking clients; risk or regulatory compliance operations or advisory for financial services clients

- Intermediate to Advanced expertise with data analysis tools such as SAS, VBA and SQL

- Knowledge of analytical approaches such as modeling, stress testing, forecasting and compliance reporting is a plus

- A strong interest in building a career in data and banking

Additional requirements: The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, independent, and comfortable with ownership in unstructured work environments
