Brief Background of the job:  The Advisory Business Group is responsible for appraising debt proposals that are to be syndicated. These include underwritten proposals, secondary sell down proposals and debt being arranged on a best effort basis. Further, the team also provides advisory services in nature of transaction structuring, bid process advisory, bid advisory, merchant appraisals / bankability study etc.   Role/Responsibilities:  I. Assisting the relationship managers in making the pitch for syndication proposals, offer letter, in principle note etc;  II. Due diligence & credit appraisal, identifying key risks and suggesting mitigation measures, assisting in preparing the term-sheet;  III. Preparing the Information/Appraisal Memorandum and pitch book to be shared with prospective participating banks;  IV. Timely execution of proposals;  V. Tracking industry trends;   VI. Overseeing legal documentation of select underwritten proposals;  VII. Providing assistance to the Syndication Relationship Team during the syndication process;  VIII. Working on advisory assignments.   Skills: (1) Strong analytical and report writing skills ; (2) Experience in Excel financial modeling, including detailed income statement forecasting and multiple scenario analysis, capital structure modeling, calculation for key financial metrics etc ; (3) Prior experience is credit appraisals would be a added advantage.
