Job Description:

The candidate is required to:

- Serve as the credit cards analytics expert spanning all aspects of monitoring and analyses related to new issuance, spend/portfolio management, and profitability.

- Lead various business analytics on credit cards spend analysis.

- Provide regular business performance monitoring and data-driven insights to senior management and credit card product team.

- Partner with and assist the product teams with necessary analytics in spend and other customer management programs.

- Conduct other adhoc analyses as needed.

- Lead a team of analyst(s) fostering a high performance culture

- Should have in-depth and thorough knowledge of cards, 4-6 years of relevant experience

- Good banking domain knowledge and expertise including profitability of banking products

- Should have experience on SAS / EG ( at least 4-5 yrs. of experience).

- Good knowledge of R

- Experience working with databases is a plus (SQL)

- Should be able to bring in new and innovative ideas

- Should have good communication, presentation and inter-personal skills

- Having a - results oriented- attitude with - go get it done- skill

- Good project management skills while working with both internal and external partners

- Should have a high degree of motivation with a continuous thirst for learning

- Sharp analytical thinker and proven thought leader

- Post Graduate background in Engineering/Statistics/Economics/Operations Research / M.B.A. (Finance/Marketing)
