Axience - Research Analyst - Financial Research

Support the senior analysts and assistant managers within the financial research department in various projects. Detailed responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

- Work on projects ranging from industry research to equity research and financial modeling

- Work on multiple projects with the ability to prioritize work with strict deadlines

- Build financial models for both equity/credit and sector from scratch

- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis on the data

- Writing research reports with recommendations

- Sometimes the projects would be executed as part of a 2-3 member team, so being a team player would be essential part of delivering any project

Academic and professional background

- Fresh Bachelors or Masters graduates from reputed colleges with top 10% academic performance

- Candidate must have academic excellence through at least one of the following:

Top 5 in the class throughout academic career

In top 25% of top 10 degree college of India (in that category)

Proven record of being a leader in sports or other extracurricular activities

Something which makes the candidate clearly stand out

- International exposure through travel or education is desired

- Prior experience of working in KPO / Investment Banks / Brokerage House

Required skills

- Exceptional oral and written communication skills (English)

- Should be comfortable working in a start-up, lean environment involving late hours if required

- Ability to prioritize and organize tasks to meet deadlines, while working on multiple projects

- Ability to follow instructions given on projects and work with minimal guidance/direction

- Superior analytical, interpersonal and ability to audit

- Advanced skills in computer applications, such as MS Access, Excel, Powerpoint and Word

- Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
